Guests love the great location, size, and close to beach
Bright, airy, spacious, well maintained and well equipped unit. Excellent location within short walking distance of beach and restaurants. Building is showing its age. Common areas including lobby, elevators, gym (not really functioning) are older and not well maintained.
The condo looks just like the pictures and has loads of room. Having 2 and 1/2 baths was a plus. We took advantage of the pool table, the large balcony and the huge kitchen. The living room is very comfortable with a large couch and 2 recliner chairs. We utilized the available beach chairs but the beach wagon was in bad shape.<br/>The Anchorage is located in a very convenient spot just off the island's south bridge. The beach is a short walk away, as are many bars and restaurants. The area is still recovering from last fall's hurricane and The Anchorage's landscaping and street front are still not back to pre-storm levels, but the building itself was clean and operational. We were disappointed that the tennis courts were still destroyed, but we used the public courts down the street. Pool is up and running and heated.<br/>We had to contact the hosts for a small issue and they were very responsive. <br/>I would recommend staying here.

The property was perfectly maintained and beautifully landscaped. For being a holiday weekend, it wasn’t crowded at all and the access in and out of the property was easy. We look forward to coming back next year!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The condo was exactly as pictured and described- even had more than expected when it came to beach equipment and kitchen needs. If they don't have it in this condo, you don't need it. It is extremely well equipped for the beach, fishing, etc. This unit looks exactly as it does in the pics, and is actually much bigger than we expected. The balcony is enormous and really nice to sit on. The master bath is HUGE. The only negative I could possibly say is the "private beach" is literally about 12 feet wide. However, you can move in front of the flags from the neighboring beaches and set up anywhere. We never found it to be a problem...but on an extremely crowded day it might be a bit cramped (we were there on July 5th and it was fine). Even with that one "negative", I would not hesitate to book this unit again.
